Connecticut High School Basketball - East Hartford tipped by Cheney RVT

The Cheney RVT Beavers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting East Hartford Hornets to 67 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Beavers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grasso Tech for a Connecticut Technical - Central contest on Friday, February 10. Cheney RVT will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-49 league win over Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
The Hornets (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Edwin O. Smith was edged by Manchester (Manchester, CT), 68-38, in a non-league challenge.
