The Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) basketball nipped the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), 54-48 in Wednesday's league test.
The Falcons (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers go into the Division 2 test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Chariho got by Middletown (Middletown, RI), 56-53, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hope for a Division 2 test on Friday, February 10. South Kingstown will confront a Blue Wave squad coming off a 52-44 league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Blue Wave record now stands at 1-16.
