The Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) basketball nipped the host Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), 53-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-22) will now prepare for their test against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders go into the Fox Valley test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Huntley was tipped by McHenry (McHenry, IL), 55-50, in a league test.
