Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Duluth East upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Jefferson (Bloomington, MN) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Jefferson lost 76-58 in their recent non-league bout against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)

Next up, the Rangers play the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Forest Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Ponies go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 67-50 league loss to White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN).
