The Everton Tigers basketball team (Everton, MO), was nudged 45-41 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Fair Play Hornets (Fair Play, MO)
The Hornets now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macks Creek for a Polk County battle on Friday, February 10. Fair Play will battle a Pirates team coming off a 54-44 league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.
The Tigers (0-20) will now prepare for their battle against Humansville (Humansville, MO). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Humansville edged Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO), 73-39, in a non-league battle.
