The Hinkley Thunderbirds basketball team (Aurora, CO), was overwhelmed 60-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Far Northeast Warriors Warriors (Denver, CO)
The Warriors now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northfield for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. Far Northeast Warriors will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 66-50 league win over Denver North (Denver, CO). The Nighthawks record now stands at 15-5.
The Thunderbirds (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Westminster (Westminster, CO). The Wolves come into the 6A Denver Prep battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Westminster was overwhelmed by Kennedy (Denver, CO), 83-76, in a non-league battle.
