In Wednesday's league outing, the Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) basketball squad edged the host Gorham Huskies (Gorham, NH), by a count of 53-47.
The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Woodsville (Woodsville, NH). The Engineers go into the Division IV outing with a 16-3 record. In their last outing, Woodsville held off Profile (Bethlehem, NH), 53-48, in a league outing.
The Huskies now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lin-Wood for a Division IV outing on Friday, February 10. Gorham will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 69-48 league win over Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 5-8.
