Connecticut High School Basketball - Tourtellotte knocked off by Killingly

The Killingly Redmen basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Tourtellotte Tigers to 58 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Redmen now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Killingly will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions enter the Eastern Connecticut IV contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Wheeler ran past Stonington (Stonington, CT), 68-58, in a non-league contest.
