The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) basketball felled the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), 69-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Red Wolves (15-13) will now prepare for their test against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Cardinals go into the South Suburban test with a 12-16 record. In their last test, Blue Island Eisenhower went down by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 63-52, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-18 record. They play next when they travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais for a SouthWest Suburban - Red test on Friday, February 10. Lincoln-Way West will encounter a Boilermakers squad coming off a 62-54 league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 15-10.
