Utah High School Basketball - North Sanpete ripped by Manti

The Manti Templars basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting North Sanpete Hawks to 50 in the Templars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Templars now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juab for a 3A Region 14 contest on Friday, February 10. Manti will battle a Wasps team coming off a 74-58 league win over North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 14-6.

The Hawks (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Roosevelt, UT). The Cougars enter the 3A Region 14 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Union was routed by Delta (Delta, UT), 53-50, in a league contest.
