The Newberry Panthers topped the host Union County Fightin' Tigers basketball team by a final score of 65-51 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Hawthorne Hornets (Hawthorne, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. Newberry will attempt to move on its 21-5 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 8-6 record after their 53-41 non-league win over Fort White (Fort White, FL).
With the defeat, Union County moves to 14-11 on the year.
