The Sage Hill Lightning routed the visiting Whittier Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 59-37 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Lightning face the Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens (Encino, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. Sage Hill will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Armens enter the game with a 17-15 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Fairmont (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
With the defeat, Whittier moves to 15-11 on the year.
