Success Academy of Liberal Arts (New York, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Bronx Community Spartans (Bronx, NY), 64-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Success Academy of Liberal Arts upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The host Capital Prep Harbor (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Sharks in a Berkshire challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 19-3.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Walton Wildcats (Bronx, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. South Bronx Community will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.
