Denver West Cowboys (Denver, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Denver West upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Westminster (Westminster, CO) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Westminster won 75-38 in their recent league bout against Hinkley (Aurora, CO)

Next up, the Spartans play the Vista PEAK Prep Bison (Aurora, CO) in a bout, on Saturday, February 11. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 50-46 league loss to Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO).
