Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 42-2 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Everest Collegiate upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The travel to FAITH HomeSchool (Lapeer, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 19-5. FAITH HomeSchool won 58-28 in their recent non-league bout against Faith Baptist (Davison, MI)

Next up, the Gazelles play the Southfield Christian Eagles (Southfield, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Academy of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI).
