Ohio High School Basketball - Edgewood fells Jefferson Area

February 8, 2023: Ashtabula, OH 44004

Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), 54-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Warriors host Geneva (Geneva, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-12.

Next up, the Falcons play the Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Jefferson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 46-34 non-league loss to Garfield (Garrettsville, OH).
