The Fitch Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Griswold Wolverines to 14 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodstock Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Fitch will meet a Centaurs team coming off a 60-24 non-league win over Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 11-6.

The Wolverines (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets enter the Eastern Connecticut - 3 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Windham was routed by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 59-54, in a non-league contest.
