The McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), 62-39 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Roland Park Country (Baltimore, MD). The Reds go into the IAAM A test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, Roland Park Country was trounced by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 63-27, in a league test.
The Engineers now own a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Douglass for a Baltimore City II test on Tuesday, February 14. Poly will encounter a Mighty Ducks squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Digital Harbor (Baltimore, MD). The Mighty Ducks record now stands at 0-3.
