Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nixyaawii Community Eagles (Pendleton, OR), 43-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stanfield upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR) to play the Knights in a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Friday, February 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Irrigon won 37-28 in their recent league bout against Heppner (Heppner, OR)
