In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Spencer County Bears basketball team scored a good 49-30 triumph over the Oldham County Colonels.
In their next game, the Bears meet the North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. Spencer County will attempt to move on its 20-6 season record.
With the defeat, Oldham County moves to 10-12 on the year. The Colonels travel to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league match on Saturday, February 11. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 8-13.
