In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Rim of the World Fighting Scots soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits.
The Fighting Scots (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA). The Heralds come into the non-league battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Whittier Christian nudged Avalon (Avalon, CA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
