Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Fairfield Prep held off by Mount St. Charles Academy

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Fairfield Prep Jesuits (Fairfield, CT), by a margin of 4-3.
The Mounties now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a State Championship Division challenge on Saturday, February 11. Mount St. Charles Academy will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 4-2 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 6-10.
The Jesuits (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Catholic was edged by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
