In Wednesday's league challenge, the Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Kimball Union Academy Wildcats (Meriden, NH), by a margin of 3-2.

The Big Blue now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor's Academy for a challenge on Friday, February 10. Phillips Academy will clash with a Governors team coming off a 4-4 league Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA). The Governors record now stands at 8-9.

The Wildcats (18-8) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hampton School (New Hampton, NH). The Huskies enter the challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, New Hampton School was edged by Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA), 5-1, in a league challenge.
