In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Awaken Christian Lions basketball team scored a tight 60-53 triumph over the Amplus Academy Archers.
In their next game, the Lions face the Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) in a match, on Friday, February 10. Awaken Christian will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 52-36 league loss to White Pine (Ely, NV).
With the defeat, Amplus Academy moves to 7-9 on the year. The Archers travel to Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, February 10. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-6.
