Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Burlingame upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Panthers host San Mateo (San Mateo, CA) to play the Bearcats in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 10-10. San Mateo won 52-48 in their recent league bout against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 10. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 21-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 47-26 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).
