In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Chester Hambletonians basketball team scored a tight 45-40 triumph over the Minisink Valley Warriors.
In their next game, the Hambletonians meet the Tuxedo Tornadoes (Tuxedo, NY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 14. Chester will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
With the defeat, Minisink Valley moves to 8-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to meet the Dragons in a match on Friday, February 10. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 4-11.
