In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Lake Highland Prep Highlanders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fort Meade Miners.
The Highlanders (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Tampa Catholic nudged Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
