The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) and the visiting Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks (Port St. Joe, FL), saw St. Johns Country Day's soccer squad get by Port St. Joe by a count of 1-0.
The Spartans now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. St. Johns Country Day will meet a Flashes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Christ's Church Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Flashes record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Port St. Joe drops to 11-6 on the season.
