The Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes (Appleton, WI), 67-61 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Appleton West (Appleton, WI). The Terrors go into the Fox Valley test with a 1-20 record. In their last test, Appleton West was tipped by Hortonville (Hortonville, WI), 75-39, in a league test.

The Foxes now own a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Little Chute for a North Eastern test on Saturday, February 10. Fox Valley Lutheran will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-41 league loss to Waupaca (Waupaca, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-9.
