James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD), 72-47 in a league bout.

With the win, James Valley Christian upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket won 66-56 in their recent non-league bout against Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) in a B Region 2 bout, on Saturday, February 10. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 76-41 non-league loss to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD).
