In Thursday's non-league outing, the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD) basketball squad felled the visiting Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD), by a margin of 51-43.

The Patriots (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Hubs go into the CMC outing with a 12-8 record.

The Eagles now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Howard for a Howard County outing on Monday, February 12. Centennial will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 61-56 league win over Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Lions record now stands at 11-7.
