The Christian Brothers Academy Colts (Lincroft, NJ) basketball felled the host Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ), 67-51 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Colts (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Rebels go into the Shore A - North test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Howell thwarted Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ), 61-54, in a non-league test.

The Griffins now own a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Manalapan for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Donovan Catholic will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 14-7.
