Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valeo Academy Fire (Hoffman Estates, IL), 65-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Christian Life upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Eagles host Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL) to clash with the Red Ramblers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Red Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Mooseheart lost 63-37 in their recent non-league bout against MCC (Morton Grove, IL)

Next up, the Fire clash with the Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Huskies (Cary, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Valeo Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 59-42 non-league loss to Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL).
