In Thursday's league outing, the Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA), by a count of 65-44.

The (18-11) will now prepare for their outing against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls go into the non-league game with a 8-18 record.

With the defeat, Fisher moves to 8-10 on the year.
