Louisiana High School Basketball - Slaughter Community Charter overwhelmed by Glen Oaks

The Glen Oaks Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights to 21 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 14-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Allen for a 3A District 6 contest on Friday, February 9. Glen Oaks will battle a Pelicans team coming off a 56-51 league win over Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 6-16.
The Knights (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 11-20 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville was routed by Northside Christian (Crowley, LA), 68-64, in a league contest.
