In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN), by a margin of 82-21.
The Panthers (6-18) will now prepare for their outing against Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Redskins go into the 3A District 5 outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Loudon was trounced by Rhea County (Evensville, TN), 77-51, in a non-league outing.
The Cherokees now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they host Harriman for a 1A District 4 outing on Friday, February 9. Greenback will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 58-49 league win over Midway (Kingston, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 22-1.
