The South Hagerstown Rebels basketball team (Hagerstown, MD), was nudged 49-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV)

The Eagles now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Mills for a Eastern Panhandle battle on Saturday, February 10. Hedgesville will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 69-47 league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-0.

The Rebels (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Wildcats come into the CMC battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Williamsport was nudged by Walkersville (Walkersville, MD), 66-49, in a league battle.
