In Thursday's league outing, the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN), by a margin of 58-47.

The Jaguars (8-16) will now prepare for their outing against Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Pioneers go into the AA Section 7 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Pierz was topped by Mora (Mora, MN), 62-58, in a non-league outing.

The Rails now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Marshall for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 10. Proctor will clash with a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 76-63 non-league loss to Pillager (Pillager, MN). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 9-10.
