The Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) basketball crushed the host Independence Tigers (Independence, LA), 77-29 in Thursday's league test.
The Jaguars (22-8) will now prepare for their test against Albany (Albany, LA). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 21-11 record. In their last test, Albany was trounced by Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-46, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-16 record.
