Maysville Wolverines (Maysville, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad smash the host King City Wildkats (King City, MO), 64-37 in a league game.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Putnam County Midgets (Unionville, MO) in a Grand River game, on Saturday, February 10. Maysville will attempt to move on its 21-0 season record. The Midgets enter the game with a 15-6 record after their 69-41 league win over North Harrison (Eagleville, MO).

With the defeat, King City moves to 5-21 on the year. The Wildkats travel to Savannah (Savannah, MO) to face the Savages in a non-league game on Monday, February 12. The Savages enter the game with a record of 8-16. Savannah lost 57-37 in their recent league game against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO)
