The Life Christian Academy Eagles (Chester, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Rise Academy Guardians (Richmond, VA), 76-64 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles go into the Metro Private test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Rock Creek Christian Academy went down by Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD), 62-55, in a league test.
The Guardians now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Veritas School for a VISAA Division III test on Tuesday, February 13. Rise Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Lions record now stands at 4-14.
