The Mangum Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Sayre Eagles to 50 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merritt for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Mangum will battle a Oilers team coming off a 57-24 non-league loss to Hobart (Hobart, OK). The Oilers record now stands at 11-9.
The Eagles (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick (Frederick, OK). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Frederick prevailed over Walters (Walters, OK), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
