Marion Mustangs (Marion, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rosholt Hornets (Rosholt, WI), 73-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Tigerton (Tigerton, WI) to play the Tigers in a Central Wisconsin - North bout on Friday, February 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Hornets play the Kohler Blue Bombers (Kohler, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Rosholt will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Blue Bombers go into the bout with a 19-0 record after their 85-78 league win over Random Lake (Random Lake, WI).
