The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was nudged 53-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC)

The Colts now possess a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabernacle Christian for a NCCSA A West Region 2 battle on Tuesday, February 13. Matthews Christian Academy will battle a Ram team coming off a 66-41 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (King, NC). The Ram record now stands at 7-13.

The (386-1418) will now prepare for their battle against Job Corps (El Paso, TX). The Titans come into the Freelance battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Job Corps was nudged by Jesus Chapel (El Paso, TX), 36-30, in a league battle.
