Missouri High School Basketball - McDonald County thwarts Neosho

The McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting Neosho Wildcats (Neosho, MO), 66-56 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Tigers go into the Big 8 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Nevada notched a victory over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO), 69-49, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Carl Junction for a Central Ozarks test on Tuesday, February 13. Neosho will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-58 league loss to Branson (Branson, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-11.
