Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) and the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI), saw Menominee's basketball squad wallop North Central by a count of 63-33.

With the victory, Menominee upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Maroons host Laconia (Rosendale, WI) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Laconia won 94-92 in their recent league challenge against Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI)

Next up, the Jets play the Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) in a Central Upper Peninsula challenge, on Friday, February 9. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI).
