The Poca The Dots (Poca, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), 56-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The The Dots (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the Cardinal test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Nitro went down by East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 61-49, in a non-league test.
The Colts now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis County for a Big Ten test on Saturday, February 10. Philip Barbour will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 55-46 league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 12-7.
