The Sioux City West Wolverines basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Spencer Tigers to 56 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Le Mars for a Missouri River contest on Monday, February 12. Sioux City West will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over Spencer (Spencer, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-14.
The Tigers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Le Mars was nudged by Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA), 81-60, in a league contest.
