New York High School Basketball - Pittsford can't hold off Aquinas Institute

The Aquinas Institute Little Irish basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Pittsford Panthers to 49 in the Little Irish non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Little Irish now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hornell for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Aquinas Institute will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 77-33 league win over Haverling (Bath, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 16-1.
The Panthers (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Penfield nudged Webster Thomas (Webster, NY), 53-30, in a league contest.
