The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Argenta-Oreana Bombers to 31 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Maroa-Forsyth will battle a Rams team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Meridian (Macon, IL). The Rams record now stands at 12-16.
The Bombers (5-20) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 18-13 record. In their last contest, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg triumphed over Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL), 30-27, in a non-league contest.
